Norely and Connor’s Houston wedding was filled with meaningful details and heartfelt moments from beginning to end! They met and fell in love while attending UT in Austin, and they chose to celebrate their wedding near the bride’s hometown. Their ceremony took place at Houston Oaks Country Club and Retreat in Hockley TX, and their reception followed at Oaktree Manor in Spring TX; two beautiful wedding venues in the Houston area that perfectly reflected their love story.
Before the ceremony, Norely surprised her bridesmaids, her mom, and her soon-to-be mother-in-law with a special first look. She wanted to save the moment with Connor for the walk down the aisle, which made their ceremony even more emotional and powerful. The Ceremony began at the historic 17th century French chapel at Houston Oaks, a stunning building that had been moved all the way from France to Texas. Norely wore a pleated gown paired with an elegant all-white orchid bouquet, and together with Connor, they exchanged vows in front of the timeless chapel.
After the ceremony, we captured their portraits in and around the chapel, keeping everything natural, authentic, and organic—just as they envisioned. They also shared a quiet communion with their wedding party, a meaningful pause before the celebration continued.
The evening then moved to Oaktree Manor, where their family and friends were welcomed by a live band, Hybrid7. The reception was full of energy, laughter, and dancing that carried late into the night. Every part of this Houston Oaks wedding was full of love and joy, and it was an honor to document their story as their Houston wedding photographer.
